Minden Master Range-Top Indoor Grill Review

I love this grill.I spent a lot of time researching indoor grills before I decided on the Minden. Make sure you heat up the grill very well before you put things on it.

Pros: -The food comes out tasting just like you had grilled it outside.
-Easy cleaning.Dishwasher safe and or pop in your self cleaning oven.

Cons: -The lid is not high enough.When I try to finish artichokes on the grill the lid is to small to cover them.
-It can create a lot of smoke and flare ups.I wouldn't recommend it unless you have lots of windows.

Weber 10020 Smokey Joe Silver Charcoal Grill, Black Review

Though this is a portable grill, it is terrific for at home use if you're single, or have a small balcony apartment. It takes very little space, and is easy to maneuver when cleaning time comes.
I've used this gem for years. My apartments, on the whole, mandated the simplicity and efficiency offered up by the Smokey Joe.
A great feature is the rounded top. This enables better smoking, as air and smoke circulates more fluidly.
The downsides:
The legs aren't as sturdy as they could be. Given time, a bit of bumping around and general abuse, and the screwed on legs might turn askew. If you notice this while the grill is hot, you've a problem. The solution is to keep them tight during non-use.
The air intake at the bottom gets clogged with ashes. A key to good charcoal grilling is the manipulation of air flow. The intake might be open, but stopped up. If you are diligent to clean the ahes, you'll be OK.
Because the grill is so close to the ground, you need to be careful. Unlike most of Weber's grill, this one os also apt to getting kicked over, run into by dogs, cars and children.
I fully recommend Weber's Smokey Joe. Now, I'm hungry. Time to stir the coals and pop on a few brats.

This is one appliance that lives up to every one of the manufacturer's claims.I follow directions and spray the grill surface with cooking spray and put half a cup of water in the pan below, and the grill really is, as advertised, smokeless and extremely easy to clean.I like the adjustable grill temperature, a feature I'm not used to since my faithful antique Farberware, now deceased, had only two settings, namely "plugged in and on" or "unplugged and off".The Sanyo cooks everying in half the time the old grill did, and without cabinet-endangering flareups. I particularly like the enormous cooking surface since I'm regularly cooking for 5 adults and a child and with this grill I can cook for all of us at once.The dimensions make it easy to store if you set it vertically rather than horizontally.The appliance is so low in height that I set mine on a silicone countertop protector, but I'm not sure this is really necessary.My only complaint is that there is no surrounding rim to keep your hamburgers from sliding right off the grill when you try to flip them over, but using a second spatula as a backstop solves that problem.This grill is a terrific bargain even at the suggested retail price; at the current Amazon price it's even more terrific.
