I have used this item for years now and can't say enough about how great it works. Easy to clean and I bought one for each of my family members! Why did it take so long to invent?
I had this set for over 5 years and one day the spatula disappeared... That's funny?
Grilled some haddock on these planks and they came out great -- my only issue is that while other planks on amazon state they can be reused, these ones do not.. I assumed they were reusable though because they didn't say "one time use" so I bought them based on what I had read on the other products.Once I received the packaging states one time use disposable planks - meaning they pretty much cost the same as the haddock I put on them!So beware if you are looking for a hardy reusable plank as there are others similarly priced on amazon that say reusable.
Unfortunately, I fell for this good deal.The pretty handles are already coming off.And the scrub brush is rusting already.I guess they still serve their purpose, but falling apart after only a few weeks of use is not what I expected.
I ordered the Mr. Bar B Q set because it was advertised as Made in the USA, but when I received the product it was clearly marked Made in China. This was clearly a misrepresentation. I can't speak for the quality of the product since I am returning the item unopened.
At first my husband didn't think it would work but after using it several times he really likes the ease of turning steaks.I use the small one in the kitchen for bacon and it is great.
Great product. Can use on grill or in oven. Cooks pizza to have a nice crispy crust. Highly recommend. Would make a good gift.
I did not see the set as it was a gift.But I do know that it was there on time and the person who recived it liked it a great deal.
In just a couple of weeks of normal use, the heat from the grill plus washing it in the sink caused the finish to come off of the lower one third of the handle.It looks crappy but works fine still.Given the nice weight and balance and the very long handle, I would otherwise have given this item five stars.
I received this item and was amazed at how cheaply it was constructed.Several of the pieces had splintering wood handles.The tongs looked (and felt) like the wood had actually broken in half and had been glued back together.If I had used the set, I would have suffered from large splinters. I had this set in my possession for 15 mins before I got the return information.And it looks like I will have to pay for the return shipping to get a refund at all.Trust me, spend more money on a quality product.This experience has really reinforced the saying that "You get what you pay for"!
I bought this product for my parents and they love it! My mom hates to pop the cork on champagne and now its so easy for her. I will def. purchase this product again for gifts in the future. I liked the box it came in too, very pretty.
This was a gift, but it does come with a warranty AND the product is worth about $65.I didn't realize how large this was until I opened it.The handles are extra long so you don't get burned while cooking.
Great set, well made stainless steel grilling set. Everything a happy griller needs. Great brush design, good flipper, nice tongs.
This is a really nice set of grilling tools with golf grips.I think the nicest thing about them is that if your golfer has a set type of grips that he/she uses it would be fairly easy to put those grips on.It is a very nice set.Only draw back is perhaps the tongs are not as springy as a standard pair but otherwise very nice set!
You'll need a trailer sized BBQ grill for this BBQ set! The quality stainless steel is very cheap and the utensils are bulky. I'm not sure that they are truly made of stainless steel, so most likely these utensils will rust. The tongs have a lever that doesn't work well. They don't come with a box to store it in. My package looked like it was already returned by someone else and was retaped up and shipped to me. I'd look around for a set that comes with a storage case and one that's made of higher quality materials.Good luck!
Was nicely made - good size and great for the guy who cooks everything spicy hot.
The spatula is very well balanced. The tongs have a particularly good grip for turning large pieces of meat such as a tritip roast.
I bought this item for my husband.He loves it!He said the handles are long enough so he doesn't feel the heat from the grill and the spatula lets him easily get the burgers off the grill to flip.
I bought this as a Father's Day gift and it didn't disappoint. The apron is fairly heavy duty and the pockets are secure.The grilling utensils are decent quality and the oven mitt was nicer than another review had led me to believe.The salt and pepper shakers are smallish, but that's a minor quibble.My grandson enjoyed giving this to his father, and his father really liked it.The tools alone are worth the price, the apron and mitt are just bonuses!
