Weber 7542 Cast Iron Griddle Review

I use this on a Summit Gold 6 burner grill. With the side burner, the regular section of the grill, and this griddle I can cook almost anything outside. Cast iron gets hot and retains the heat. I was considering Mario Batali's piastra, but this has a larger cooking area and I think will be more durable. Too bad it didn't come seasoned.

Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick 11-Inch Square Grill Pan Review

I had been toying with the idea of a non-stick "grill pan" for some time, and could never justify the expense... After all, I had a large George Foreman, and used it very rarely.

But I was running out of cookware to shop for , and began tracking several with the plan of buying the first one that came on at a great price.... I tracked both All Clads, and this one.I almost bought the large All Clad, but discovered they didn't qualify for the Amazon promotion, so that blew that!

Then this one came up at $29.99 and I jumped all over it!

I have done beef steaks, pork steaks and salmon on it with excellent results.Cleanup, though not a breeze, is quick enough.Cooking residue tends to stick tighter on either side of the rounded ribs, but I have yet to need anything more than a little dish soap and hot water on a terry dish cloth.

One caveat - I seriously doubt those with solid top Electric Ranges will be satisfied with this pan.The bottom is not smooth, but rather follows the ridged cooking surface - in reverse.I am not familiar with these ranges, but understand a perfectly flat surface is essential to successful cooking.

Now I'm thinking about the 11" square griddle....

Camerons Products Stainless Steel Multi Pan Review

I've been looking for a roaster/broiling pan.Heavy enough not to warp under high heat.Not non-stick since I want to deglaze the pan for sauces.DW safe - my husband puts everything in the DW or it doesn't get washed!AND a conductive bottom surface for even heating and use on the stove top during deglazing.

I looked at the much more expensive All-Clad Roti BUT the handles were at a fixed height - too tall for close positioning next to my broiler.The handles of the multi-pan fold down.

Even if it weren't on sale, it's a fraction of the cost of the All Clad, meets all of my needs and my family's lack of care . . . this is perfect!!!

This was the only one affordable with grill capability in use. Weighty, big, nice wooden handle. I deducted one star for lack of instructions. When I put it on heat, I was nearly knocked over by fumes from the finish.

This pizza cooker works really well.I have a grill large enough to use 4 at a time. A couple of hints for using the cooker ;turn pan 180 degrees ocationally for more even cooking and when dough is just starting to get firm, slide a non stick spatula under to lift dough out of the holes in the pan.
