Kingsford KCC20 Kentucky Tongs Review

Purchased these to have an extra set for the backyard BBQ. I don't remember what I paid, but whatever it was, it wasn't worth it. They are too short and too flimsy to pick things up with. Knuckles get too hot, and when you squeeze down on something the flimsy metal flexs too far and actually caused the tips of the forks to spread appart instead of squeezing together.I would never ever buy these again!

Elizabeth Karmel's Grill Friends 12-Inch Stop 'N Go Tongs, Set of 2 Review

These tongs are fantastic and hold up well to a strong grip. The red one is marked "Raw" and the green one is marked "Cooked". They also clean easily. The only thing to improve would be if each on was a different size to give you more versitility.

Kingsford KRU20 St. Louis Tongs Review

Very useful tongs open wide enough, close easily enough, securely hold a large piece of food. The wood keeps them cool to use. The triangular hanger at the hinge locks the tongs closed when pulled out.
16" long not counting hanger, food grippers are 2" wide and 4"long.

Outset QT20 Stella Stainless-Steel Locking Barbecue Tongs with Soft-Grip Handles Review

These things are constructed so closely with OXO tongs they have to be made by the same plant.The only things that distinguish these from OXO good grips tongs are:

1.An embossed logo by the handle
2.A larger ring at the end of the lock
3.Lock is a bit tighter, but that may be due to my OXO tongs being several years old

The similarities with OXO are:

1.The exact same size and scalloped shape of the gripping end
2.The exact same shaft dimensions
3.The exact same handle material
4.Handle design so exact that the rubber grips are interchangeable
5.The hinge design, down the the internal spring and lock are visibly identical

If there is any doubt remaining, the product image is actually of OXO tongs, these tongs have a larger end loop on the lock with a copper ring attached.
