This is the 2nd generation model, I have the 1st at home and use it CONSTANTLY!I use it to grill meat (any kind), as a panini press (from fancy Cubanos to 5-minute grilled cheese for my four-year-old), as a quesadilla maker, and recently discovered its true hidden talent...bacon.Cooks it faster, crisper and leaner than any fry pan.The only negative is cleanup; the cooking surfaces aren't removable so you have to wash and rinse them without getting too much water near the electrical components on the bottom of the grill.

NOT just a fancy Foreman.I had one of those and it doesn't compare.First and foremost the biggest difference is the floating hinge.Try grilling something thick on a Foreman and it'll cook the sides unevenly since it can't close around the whole steak.Also this gets much hotter (1500 watts).And finally the nonstick surface on this is very good in its durability (no nicks or marks after 3 years of heavy use) and its nonstick-edness.If you grill a sandwich with cheese and the cheese melts out the side, it will actually stay with the sandwich rather than stick to the grill!

Looks like this one is reconditioned and I bought mine new so I can't speak to the condition.But if mine broke today I'd drop the $180 for a new one in a heartbeat.

Its easily accessible control panel includes a convenient "on/off" rocker switch, a dial that controls the grill angle, another that controls the 15-minute timer, and a third dial that controls the temperature from 350 to 450 degrees F. A light indicates when the grill has reached the set temperature, while built-in thermal sensors ensure that both plates maintain precise temperatures at all times. With polished die-cast aluminum arms and a brushed stainless-steel body, the grill measures 19-1/4 by 15 by 6-1/4 inches.

You will never regret you spent money on this one! It will serve you for ever and take any abuse from flame cooking you can think of. I had a bad experience with BBQ utensils made with plastic and wood handles: they crack, melt, break off. I switched to utensils made entirely of metal: my boys are very tough on utensils when cooking in the backyard. The size of this spatula is huge, you will use it to flip fish, large stakes or even 2 burgers at a time, the handle is also long enough to keep your hands away from the mess and fire.

Carry-O 3000 Bag, for O-Grill 3000 Portable Barbecue Grills Review

We use this to carry our O-Grill to/from camping trips and it works well.It's very good quality, however the inside doesn't have enough padding to protect grill finish.Friction inside the cover has rubbed the finish off our grill.It's not a big deal, but we can't give it 5 stars.(we love our O-Grill and highly recommend)

Cart BBQ Cover Review

From the description, I thought this would be a durable long-lasting cover.I had the same impression when I received it and put it into use.But after just five months into service, the material had completely thinned out at the top from being in the sun, became brittle, and ripped all the way across the top.The "heavy duty" material therefore turned out to be of very low quality, unable to stand up to the sun.I have never seen a barbeque cover wear out so quickly.

Broil King 934664 Monarch 40 40,000-BTU Liquid-Propane Gas Grill with Side Burner Review

I did tons of research online to find the best gas grill. I wanted a good quality grill that will last, not rust out and not need constant upkeep and replacement parts.I'm only cooking for my wife and I so I did not need a huge oversized grill. I checked all of the local big box stores.The smaller grills at these stores had a nice price tag ($80-$150) but they were so flimsy and all of the online reviews said they either rusted out or broke after a year or two of use.I was willing to step it up a notch and pay more, but in the big box stores all you get for a bigger price tag is a bigger grill that will still rust out and break down after a couple of years.I wanted something that would last.The next option up in the big box stores was to purchase a Weber. Weber has a great reputation for quality, but they are so expensive and big. I found that the Broil King brand was the perfect solution to my problem. They build high quality grills (via Onward Manufacturing Co. which has some affiliateion with Weber, but I'mnot sure what.) Broil King has several differnt models with a lot of configurations and options. They are one of the few companies that use cast aluminum for the oven (it will not rust and comes with a lifetime warranty).Their burner design is praised in online reviews and comes with a 5 year warranty.They use heavy duty cast iron cooking grids that weigh over seven pounds each. Their heat diffuser (Flav-R-Wave) is made of heavy duty stainless steel (other companies use cheap steel..just a step up from aluminum foil). I finally narrowed my search down to a Monarch or Crown model. Amazon's price ($319), no tax and free shipping sold me on the Monarch 40.

One thing to note, is that the stand looks like stainless steel, but it isn't. It is steel painted to look like stainless.Also, I agree with another poster that the stand could use some extra stffness.The fact that the casters are plastic bother me, but they work and they are used on all of the Broil King's grills.So I think the only con on the Monarch line is the cart/stand.It will last, but I think the actual grill will outlast the cart.Of course, this is the bottom of the Broil King line.In the end, I think I finally found what I was looking for. I just wish Broil King was sold in more local stores. If they were, the would tear up the competition!

One final thought. The "Mr. Bar-B-Q Platinum Prestige Medium Grill Cover" is the perfect fit and best quality cover I have found.It was only $19.99 when I bought it...and free shipping!
