Like other reviewers have said, these are a high-quality, well designed, last a lifetime product.They are so nice I actually look forward to using them. They are worth every penny. I like to grill over a wood fire, and the Super Skewer has no peers. The twin, thin, SS tines are easy to load, won't split the veggies, and the food stays put when you flip them. The wood handles keeps the burn cream in the cabinet. They are nice and LONG to bridge a gas grill with the grates removed, or to hold wieners and marshmallows over a campfire.

I bought both the regular and the heavy duty (thicker tines) super skewers and love them both. The regular are fine for standard kabobs, the heavy-duty will hold just about anything else you may want to grill.I am going to experiment using two or three skewers side by side (4to 6 tines) for roasts, whole birds, or maybe even fish.

If you know someone that kabobs, they would be shocked at the quality of these compared to what they are probably now using (hey, give a gift - get an invite to a great BBQ)Maybe the best thing about the super skewers is that they are made in the USA by a small business. Worst fondue pot ever.Sure, neat grill & broiling abilities. ABSOLUTELY NO INSTRUCTIONS WHAT-SO-EVER!!!! Oil doesn't get near hot enough to cook meat.It has a setting 1-5, but no explanation for the tempertaures of 1-5.Might be good for cheese or chocolate, but don't get your hopes up.BTW, don't bother looking for the company that made this, I can't find a thing on it.I was hoping to find better instructions or some sort of customer service line, zilch.I would not recommend buying this. I'll be lucky to get half my money back if I decide to sell it on craigslist, ebay, or a garage sale.Very disappointed.Take this as fair warning.

One briquette grate is smaller than the other and falls to bottom as a result.

Had to drill / elongate hole to install grate support bracket

Paint on handles started to run when I handled them with wet hands. I tried to rinse off the remaining paint or ink under running water so that it will not continue to bleed off. What paint do you know of that rinses off under plain water?

Right cast iron grate cracked when it came in contact with heat.

The design and construction of this product shows clear disregard for the consumer and is absolutely unacceptable at any price. I have to question at this point weather or not the paint used on the grill and grates is toxic or lead based. I've come across my share of junk but this is really bad!

Cuisinart Simply Grilling Nonstick Grilling Basket Review

I bought this product primarily to cook fish on the grill.There were two problems with this basket that led me to send it back without ever using it.First, the tines that make up the basket are spaced too far apart - so less dense fish (think talapia) would easily fall through - as would smaller pieces of vegetables. The 2nd problem was the way the basket closed - which made it very likely for the user to get fingers smashed during closure.I have a cast iron basket with much smaller holes that just sits on top of the grill - and I will just continue to use that for fish and vegetables unless I find a better quality version of this type of basket. Great idea - but poor design.
