Well, I posted a nice review on Dec. 27, 2007 after purchasing this grill.After use of 2 to 3 times per month for 9 months it's totally stone cold dead.Plugged it in the other night, no lights, no heat.I am very disappointed.I will be trying to receive a replacement because it's too late for money back.Just wanted to post an update on the product.

Pros:Very easy to remove and clean the grill plates.When you replace the grill plates, they are secure.Cooks meat to perfection and makes a wonderful panini sandwich.Top locks in place, cord stores securely underneath for space saving upright storage.Clean stainless steel design.
Handle remains cool to touch.
Can be used under overhead kitchen cabinets.I have 18" from the top of my countertop to the bottom of the cabinet front and I have 1" remaining with the grill fully open.
Cons:Does not open all the way to lay flat for use as an open grill.

This cover is lined with soft material inside. High quality soft, supple vinyl outside.And it fits like a glove for my grill like it was described.Really wide velcro straps on each side keep it secure in high wind.Ducane logo too.Sharp, really sharp.I'd purchase again if needed.
I took a chance and purchased this griddle about 1 month ago and after using it several times I can highly recommend it. Prior to using it for cooking I seasoned the griddle with shortening. This is easy to do and you can find some very good websites on how to care for and use a cast iron griddle. Thus far I have cooked bacon, eggs and pancakes using this griddle with excellent results each time. It fits perfectly on my Weber E-310 gas grill.
Grilled some haddock on these planks and they came out great -- my only issue is that while other planks on amazon state they can be reused, these ones do not.. I assumed they were reusable though because they didn't say "one time use" so I bought them based on what I had read on the other products.Once I received the packaging states one time use disposable planks - meaning they pretty much cost the same as the haddock I put on them!So beware if you are looking for a hardy reusable plank as there are others similarly priced on amazon that say reusable.
I chose this smoker mainly because I found it on sale at one of the home improvement warehouses for only $69.00!.I chose electric because I like the idea that the temp remains constant.The downside is that the temp is not adjustable.On a cool day the temp seems to hover at 225 F which is nice for longer smokes.The documentation says it should be smoking between 250F - 275F.I don't think it can get that high because of some minor issues in its shape.
My wife is always looking for ways to make me more helpful around the house.She knows I hate to clean the grill even though I use it a lot.I got tired of buying steel brushes to clean the grill and have them all gummed up in a few weeks.She bought me the Grill Daddy and I finally got around to trying it and it works pretty good.You have to turn the grill on high and you load the Grill Daddy with about a cup of water and you go to work.The water on the hot grill turns to steam and it got my grill looking like new.Now, it didn't help me with all the other cleaning that I had to do on my Webber gas grill.I still have to spend a Saturday afternoon taking care of all that is below the grill.However, I know I can get the grill clean in a relatively short period of time.I only used it once and I know it came with an extra set of brushes but I don't think that these brushes will gum up all that soon.(Especially since I don't clean the grill that often).However, I couldn't help but see all the gunk on the grill fall away into the drop pan rather than sticking to the brush.
I had been toying with the idea of a non-stick "grill pan" for some time, and could never justify the expense... After all, I had a large George Foreman, and used it very rarely.
